This is a fitness program created by a Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Pérez during the 1990s. A typical Zumba class features merengue, salsa, cha-cha, reggaeton, bachata, samba, soca, hip-hop, bellydance, bhangra. They say zumba is 70% latin and 30% anything else. These sessions will take students through the dance moves and health benefits of this dance and will also advance their skills into a Zumba dance instructor in a Fitness Centre.
